For passenger who travel short distances every day North Western Railway has the facility of Season tickets issued between specifications for a maximum distance of 150 kms only.

a) Issued either on a monthly or a quarterly basis.

b) Available for travel in first class & second class .

c) Also available for vendors.

Procedure for purchase:-

a) Furnish a passport size photograph at the ticket issuing counter of the station from where your wish to travel, pay the prescribed fare plus Rs.1/-.

b) A season ticket and an identity card will be issued. The number of the ID card will be indicated on the ticket. Fill in the name, address, age, sex and affix your signature in the prescribed column on the ticket. Those caught traveling with unsigned tickets are liable to pay penal charges.

Season ticket can be renewed either at the station of purchase or at the destination station. Renewal can be done on the expiry or 3 days earlier.

In the event of your loosing the season ticket, no duplicate ticket will be issued. Refund on unsued or partially used season ticket will not be granted under any circumstances.

Passengers can carry only 15 kgs .luggage on first class and 10 kgs. on second class season tickets in passenger compartments under free allowance.
