School concession order issued to students which are duly verified may be excepted any reservation centre in Jaipur area namely Gandhinagar or Durgapura, for the purpose of issue of ticket, irrespective of the fact that the same is addressed to a particular station superintendent /Station Master in Jaipur areas as the facility of issue of ticket of any train is available at these computerized reservation centre.

Low Value Monthly Season Ticket

Low Value monthly Season tickets are issued to people of unorganized sector like Vegetable Vendors, Domestic helpers, Agriculture Labourers, Construction Workers etc. upto 100 Kms. Having monthly income of less than Rs 400/- and charges will be Rs. 15/- uniformly. This concession can be availed on production of certificate on the prescribed form given below issued by Member of Parliament/ Member of Legislative Assembly/ District Magistrate/ Sub Divisional Officer or Block Development. This certificate will be valid for three months from the date of issue. The original certificate will, however, be required to be produced at the time of purchasing MST and when demanded during journey. These low value MST will be issued for second class onlu and they will not be valid for travel in any Mail/Express trains.

Note:

1) MP or MLA or DM or SDO or BDO are authorized to issue this certificate.

2) Certificate should be issued only to those people who are working in unorganized sector like Vegetable Vendor, Domestic Helper, Agriculture Labourers, Construction Workers, etc and monthly income of less than Rs. 400/-.

3) The certificate will be valid for three months from the date of issue. The MST will be issued on surrendering a photocopy of this certificate. The original certificate will be produced for inspection at the time of purchasing the ticket and during journey.

4) No alteration in the form is permitted.

Complimentary Passes – Gallantry Awardees:- Earlier, concession in rail fares was allowed to Arjuna Awardees, Gallantry Awardees recipients of Param Vir Chakra, Ashok Chakra, Mahavir Chakra, Kirti Chakra, Vir Chakra and Shaurya Chakra and widow of such post humous awardees and licensed porters(coolies). Now these categories of persons are issued complimentary passes instead of concession., the complimentary passes are issued by the office of Divisional Railway Manager concerned as well as headquarter office of North Western Railway.

NOTE:- No person or party will be allowed two or more concession at one time, (2) All concessional fares shall be calculated on the basis of fares for Mail/Express trains irrespective of the type of train, i.e .Mail or Express or passenger, by which the passenger travels (3) No concession in Rail fare is admissible by Rajdhani/Shatabdi Express trains, except for senior citizen (4) Concessional tickets to higher class:- In cases where some person is eligible for concession in first class and is allowed under the rules to purchase ticket for AC2 Tier also on payment of difference of fares, the safety, surcharge will be levied for AC2 Tier (and not first class)
